We literally booked it on the day for the next day. But of course it depends on the month of the year and how busy they are at the time … though sometimes I guess they want to encourage you too book in advance because there are many tour operators in town and if you want to book upon arrival you may end up going with someone else 😉

Hi Nick, sorry for the late reply. Yes I can confirm that the seat was custom made for Fiona by Touratech on demand. They did a really awesome job lowering the bike as much as possible for Fiona (at the expense of ground clearance of course).

Often they try to encourage you to book online prior to arrival as advance bookings are more expensive. From experience I know it’s pretty easy to book on arrival. But if you don’t have the luxury of time then perhaps pre-book in order not to miss out!

Hi, I’m pretty sure that isn’t possible because you cannot pre-book the hotel. You have to turn up in the morning and queue and they give the hotels away on a first come first serve basis. At least that was our experience when we were there. We made sure to be the first ones through the door of course but it’s kind of annoying queuing for an hour and not knowing if you’ll get a room or not. If you are arriving at night, you are better off booking a place outside of the complex and then just drive there in the morning.

Do you know if its possible to arrive and check in to the on site hotels at night, outside of the park hours?
