We literally booked it on the day for the next day. But of course it depends on the month of the year and how busy they are at the time … though sometimes I guess they want to encourage you too book in advance because there are many tour operators in town and if you want to book upon arrival you may end up going with someone else 😉

Oh wow … we booked literally the day before. It wasn’t an issue but I guess it depends on the season. Often they try to encourage you to book online prior to arrival as advance bookings are more expensive. From experience I know it’s pretty easy to book on arrival. But if you don’t have the luxury of time then perhaps pre-book in order not to miss out!

Hello, we paid 20 USD as we booked it once we were in Antigua. I wasn’t actually aware that their indicated price on their website is 60 USD. I know it’s always more expensive when you pre-book things from abroad though. I recommend booking it once you are in Antigua! We paid an additional 15 USD for the porter service as I was still recovering from my pelvis injury.
